Every garden starts with a conversation about how you want to live outside. We then survey the site, study the sun, shade, drainage and views, and develop a design in stages, so that you are involved in every decision.

Landscape build
Our own team builds what we design, including decks, paths, retaining walls, pergolas, koi ponds and lighting, built for tropical weather.
Because the same studio designs and builds your garden, nothing gets lost between the drawing and the finished space. Our build team is led by a site manager who has worked with us for years.

Garden care
Monthly visits from the people who planted your garden, so it matures the way it was designed to.
In our climate a new garden grows fast, and it needs guiding through its first couple of years. Our care visits keep it on track, and many clients use them to learn how to look after the garden themselves.

Good questions
Do you only design, or do you build too?
Both. Most clients ask us to design and build, but we are happy to produce a design for you to build yourself or with your own contractor.
How much does a garden design cost?
Design fees depend on the size and complexity of the garden. After the first consultation we send a fixed fee for the design stage, so you know the cost before committing.
When is the best time to start?
Any time of year. We plan major earthworks around the heaviest monsoon weeks, and set up irrigation so new planting establishes quickly whatever the weather.
Will a pond attract mosquitoes?
Not if it is designed properly. Moving water, good filtration and fish that eat larvae keep our ponds mosquito-free. We check this on every maintenance visit.
Will my garden be low-maintenance?
As low as you would like it to be. We design the planting around how much time you want to spend gardening, and explain exactly what care it needs.
